Eat lunch at Pappageorge

You wouldn’t expect this place to be as good as it is from the outside. Very non-descript from the exterior but the interior evokes the supper club of yesteryear. Although some may think the menu is basic, they nail the basics. The fish and chips, mushroom ravioli, and steaks are all top notch. Parking is pretty tight so plan accordingly. You will also want to grab a reservation as this place gets very busy around the lunch rush.

Take a hike in Minneopa State Park

Just a short drive from downtown Mankato, the Minneopa park offers scenic trails perfect for winter hiking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing.
